Promoting Local Farms
Currently more than 50% of our produce is organically grown within 10 miles of our restaurants, including one local farm that grows exclusively for us!
One of our founding principles is to bring the farm-to-counter experience to our guests by showcasing local food grown by area farmers and artisans. To that end, Craft Sushi has made continuous strides since its opening. Meet our current local farms:
El Shaddai Farms
El Shaddai farm resides on historical land with a farmhouse that dates back to 1842. Currently El Shaddai grows exclusively for Craft Sushi! By growing only organic produce, they are committed to providing the most fresh and most nutrient dense vegetables. El Shaddai farm uses a more unconventional growing method called the No Till method, which preserves the structure of all the biological life of nature in the soil; therefore cultivating phytonutrients for the vegetable plants. The farm also fertilizes by using what nature provides organically.
MO’ Mushrooms is a small local farm specializing in gourmet mushrooms and mushroom goods.
